The text reads :There is a thief in his forest. A tall, slender man with silver eyes, dark hair, and a mischievous smile that gleams every time Akechi catches sight of him. The thief is agile, easily maneuvering through the woods while barely making a sound, and so far he has alluded all of Akechi's attempts to catch him. But tonight, he is going to destroy this thief. Akechi raises his lantern, watches as the pale light splashes over the bark of the forest, and nods to himself. Nothing and no one will be able to hide from him with this. With the lantern as his only source of light in the forest, he begins his patrol. There is much Akechi still doesn't know about his home amongst these trees, but he knows he must guard it, must keep all intruders away, and he knows that he cannot leave it. He's tried a few times because he's never liked rules (or at least that feels true even if he can't remember exactly) and the pain that pierced through his head, through his very essence had dropped him to his knees. He'd awakened in the same quiet cabin he's been living in now. His name is Akechi, he'd learned that much from a notebook he'd found in his pocket. In crisp neat handwriting it had read "Property of Akechi" so that had to be him, but the rest, he wasn't sure of. The notebook hadn't held many clues, only sketches of people he no longer recognized, and a few disjointed words about hearts. So for now, he does what his body tells him: he hunts the thief. The woods barely still as he moves, seeming to bend to his will, and he briefly wonders if maybe's a god of some sort, but what god would have a notebook with 'Property of" written inside it like some child. And what god would be alone, performing this menial task of guarding a forest with nothing but the light from his lantern, and a dark knife he kept strapped to his thigh. Something told him that he was knew how to use a knife very well, but he hoped he didn't get the opportunity to confirm that.
