Never again. He’d promised himself. It was silly how many times it happened. There weren’t many people who knew about his relationships, but the ones that did were starting to make jokes. The particularities of his preference had become apparent. Ridiculously consistent. When they knew he’d dated two, they thought it was a funny coincidence; when they learnt how many it really was, they became concerned.

I know canon says Shoutarou only ever dating Kozuka, but Shoutarou loves telling us lies so I like to imagine he actually dated quite a few guys just not for very long (and Kozuka was the first long term one so it felt it really counted)

“‘Glue brush’?” Shou-chan read the name from his pen panel as Akira switched to it. “Ah. Yeah, it’s good for… well.” Instead of trying to explain, he just demonstrated. The “glue” came out in a rather interesting shape. Interesting shapes that - certainly not by the designer’s intention - held a reasonable resemblance to cum. “Ah,” was all Shou-chan said in response.

“Your scarf is starting to look more like your wings,” Akira said, landing beside him. His mask had come off mid-flight. The wind pressure meant nothing to him. He was used to it, after being Icarus for so long. Just like Shoutarou was used to it after being a bird. The amount of time Akira spent unmasked as Icarus and he’d spent in his kaiju form was probably equal. Akira tightened the scarf around Shoutarou’s neck, sending a shiver through him in the same way it did when he’d touched his wings before. “I think it’s becoming part of me,” Shoutarou mumbled. He could feel it through the nerves in his neck when Akira pulled.
