Alzheimer's Association Advocates visiting Elected Officials on Capitol Hill to fund research and treatment of Alzheimer's Disease. We asked for reauthorization of the BOLD Infrastructure for Alzheimer's Act (with modest increased funding), and asked for co-sponsorship of the Alzheimer's Screening and Prevention (ASAP) Act and the Accelerating Access to Dementia & Alzheimer's Provider Training (AADAPT) Act. One would make available a blood screening tool for earlier diagnosis of Alzheimer's so they can get treatment sooner, and the other would increase the tools and continuing education needed for all health service workers to learn what new advances there are, better diagnosis techniques, what to look for and what diagnostic questions to act. Call your elected officials TODAY and ask them to support (and co-sponsor) these much needed tools in the Fight Against Alzheimer's Disease!! 💜💜 #ENDALZ #EndAlzheimers #EndAlzheimersDisease #alzforum
