This raven pair was hard at work starting their nest, chattering back and forth from field to tree. They're in the large conifer nearest the huge swale at the entrance to the #AlbanyBulb. I think a RTH nested there last year - at least its progeny spent a lot of time there.

This snowy egret should join a football team. Chased this cormorant about 30 yards down the mudflats - whether trying to match its catches or chasing it away, I couldn't tell. The Albany Bulb is packed with various shorebirds, it's fun to watch how they interect between species.
