It's my first #alkemia and won't be my last. Medicinal earthy bracken gives way to the heather, broom, and woods. Gorse is a new note to me and it's beautiful. Hubs caught a whiff of vanilla, but I think it's the buttery texture of the yellow gorse. It's cozy yet fresh like a walk in the Highlands.

#sotd is on Highland theme. I lived in Scotland as an undergrad for 3 months. Ever since coming home 20 years ago I have felt a magnetic pull to go back. I can do that through scent. I am currently sitting on a hill above Gariloch again. 🏴
