Early intervention: stop the behavior when you see it don’t wait until you feel it. By addressing behaviors early, adults are less likely to use emotion in the redirect and are able to communicate to students “You are worthy of success.” #BISTon #AllInCARE @OurCornerstones

Creating resilience as a community is hinged on connection. How are you taking care of and supporting your colleagues? To effectively support students who struggle the adults must be like minded and must work as a team not in isolation. #BISTon #AllInCARE @OurCornerstones
Review student plans regularly. Ensure that contribution is in place when needed. Teaching and practicing skills for mastery is critical. Develop gradual release plans for protections so students can demonstrate success in different areas. #BISTon #AllInCARE @OurCornerstones

Connection is critical! By greeting students at the door by name on a daily basis you can increase engagement and decrease disruption. Be sure to intentionally assess and address student emotion in order to protect the learning environment. #BISTon #AllInCARE @OurCornerstones
