The image overlay on Bluesky when uploading a new image includes a + ALT button so you can quickly add an alt tag.
When you press the + ALT button, a text field opens to type your alt text. It shows a 2000 character limit and has a big blue Save button.
Please add alt tags on your images, especially if they are screenshots of posts or include all the context of your post.
When you upload an image there’s a + ALT button top left for each image so it’s just a quick tap, description, and save.
