We went to meetings together, session, and welcomed our new Detroit Mayor-Elect Mary Sheffield to the Capitol 💙

Yesterday, I spoke at the "Communities, Not Cuts" Rally held on the steps of the Capitol calling out House Republicans for cutting over $645M in already appropriated funding.

Yesterday, I joined the picket line in support of the Bricklayers union and our brothers and sisters in the Building Trades, as well as spoke at the Detroit-Hamtramck Coalition's press conference advocating for the right to breathe clean air here in our own communities 💙

Both the women and workers there continue to get sick and from what I read and heard from constituents and others has led to death.
