Spending some time this morning transferring some of the hand written 1st draft of the 2nd book onto the computer. I consider this something like simultaneous 1st and 2nd drafting because of the way things get filled out and changed in this process.

Don’t you want to go home?” That offer would have been pleasant if I hadn’t just witnessed a record of a crew of undoubtedly well-armed individuals get murdered by a horror I couldn’t even fathom out in the Wastes. Preferably, when the idea of going home was presented to me, it would be my parents picking me up so I didn’t have to take a jaunt through a valley of death to reach it. Did that make me a coward? Sure. But unlike everyone’s stereotype of emotionless Havenfolk, I was in possession of a working sense of fear and it kept me alive.
