I’d like to imagine that Amari started chewing down on one and just frowned, realizing that something had to be done about this. She was told about the state of Sharlayan cuisine, but never figured it would be this bad. #AmariWoL
Learning about her Yok Huy roots was like coming to a place where people recognize her, but she has a hard time connecting with them. I relate it a lot to visiting my extended family in Mexico for the first time. Despite being family, there's still this divide you need to bridge. #AmariWoL
Then Dawntrail comes around and she learns about her Turali heritage as well. Amari learned later in life that her family originally immigrated from Tural a long time ago. And that she has ties to the Yok Huy, which explains her unusual height. #AmariWoL
For Amari, she was born and raised in Thavnair. She is deeply Hannish. It comes through in her accent, her speech, her food, everything. She does lose that accent overtime, but it's still there.
She wears her culture proudly. If anything, it makes her feel more unique. #AmariWoL
For Amari, I made it so that Dalamud was visible from Thavnair. Realistically, it probably wasn’t visible from that far away. But I felt like Amari seeing Dalamud and what happened from afar would’ve been one of the things to inspire her dream to help everyone in need. #AmariWoL

I think a lot of people would do what some people do with Karlach. Where they just reduce her to being stupid and hot. Where as Amari is hot but she’s also very smart in different ways. She’s just not book smart. #AmariWoL
Amari was born in Radz-at-Han. She's very proud of her Hannish heritage and it comes through in her thick accent early in ARR, which softens with time. But after ARR, she was exiled from her home to save face with the Garlean Empire. Amari didn't return until years later during Endwalker. #AmariWoL

Amari has two titles. The first is “The Inferno”, which is the name she’s most widely known for. It’s also the most feared name.
The second is the “Champion of Fire”. Amari and her two best friends are all champions of an element, and her’s is fire! #AmariWoL
