'Amelia Shadows and the New Head Ghost' is the perfect middle-grade graphic. It blends humour and a lesson all together while having an engaging art style. read so that could recommend it to the young people who often read cartoons in the library and I honestly thought that they would all love this book.! hope we get our hands on a copy soon. Thanks to #netgalley for this E ARC. -- Isla J I dont typically read graphic novels, but the title and cover drew me to this one. Amelia Shadows seems to be a typical teen, except her father is one of the best dark magicians. She's learning to be like him, with the help of a somewhat boring ghost tutor. Enter Hans, another ghost that her dad has sent to be in charge of things. Between Amelia, her crusty old tutor, and Hans the bossy know-it-all ghost, the story turns out to be fun, unexpectedly engaging, and even charming. -- Lisa D.

Amelia Shadows and the New Head Ghost is a delightful, not too spooky read that balances mystery, humor, and heart. The story leans into its magical premise without getting too dark, making it engaging and accessible while still delivering genuine suspense. Amelia is a compelling protagonist-spunky. brave, and easy to root for—as she navigates the arrival of a new strict headmaster ghost. The book blends spooky adventure with warmth, perfect for young readers and is a great introduction to these characters. I can't wait to see what mischief Amelia gets into next.
