HVAC tech said there is a leak in the line & took video of the refrigerant all over the pipe. He told AHS there was a gash & this wasn’t wear & tear. I took photos yesterday and I don’t see a gash. I asked for the video this AM. nothing so far. #AmericanHomeShield

day 6: no ac. 84

technically day 7. AC leaking was found on sunday. all systems shutdown. holding steady at 84 today. two fans arrived. I bought two more to be on the safe side. it’s gonna be a killer week. missing my little old man but glad he’s not here to endure this with me. #AmericanHomeShield

meanwhile, I can't hire my own repair company unless they have zero companies who can come out and make the repair. also, because there is no set time for the repair - if it takes 3 weeks to get an appt. ohfckingwell.

home warranty service request: assigned repair co. has 24-48 BUSINESS hours to make an appoint & diagnose issue. repair quote goes into AHS review another 24-48 BUSINESS hours to review & ok. THEN there is no set time for when the repair can be made. #AmericanHomeShield

Who else has been through the mill with @ahs_warranty #americahomeshield ? We have now had 7 or 8 service visits to fix the same appliance problem, which is never resolved, and yet they refuse to replace the item. Does everyone just eventually drop #AHS ? #ahs #ahswarranty #americanhomeshield
