I read the manga a long time ago and reread it after watching the first episode. They definitely changed a lot 😆 But it's still enjoyable to watch 👌

Which Jdramas would you recommend? I've only watched #Hatsukoi (2x), #FirstLove. Takeru Sato is wonderful actor so watched the very silly #AnIncurableCaseofLove. Here's a Tokyo ad with him. 😍 Watched #TrillionGame for the reunion of the 2 leads of stunning feature film #MyHappyMarriage.

"I want to become a great nurse. So I'm going to put all my energy into work" says the FL near the end of ep 3/10 of #jDrama #AnIncurableCaseOfLove. Like she did near the end of ep 1. Then proceeds to get so drunk the ML piggybacks her home (they're next door neighbours). Just one more chance

Aaarggh! A drop for #jDrama #AnIncurableCaseOfLove looks increasingly likely as it doubles down on the "cute, clueless and klutzy" by making the actually competent nurse out to be a meanie for complaining about having to constantly fix the FL's screwups🙄

I really WANT TO like #jDrama #AnIncurableCaseOfLove for the 2 leads, but the "cute, empathetic and IMBECILIC" nurse trope is threatening to cause ocular haemorrhages from excessive eye-rolling. Into ep 3 now, will try to survive to the end of 4. If there's no improvement, will have to euthanise.

A relative works in nursing admin, focusing on compliance and competence issues - they'd have a stroke watching #jDrama #AnIncurableCaseOfLove . The FL has SAID she wants to focus on getting better at her job, into ep 2, there's little sign of it so far.

Only 1 episode in and already #jDrama #AnIncurableCaseOfLove has surprised me several times, suggesting it's more thoughtful and substantial than many stock medical romances. I don't say "romcom" because a 9-10 year old making a credible attempt at suicide is not particularly "com"

I started following Kim Hyun Soo when she did a GREAT job of dying in #kDrama #GoodDoctor in 2013 (she's just wrapped a stage version of My Ajusshi) , and I'm getting flashbacks to that emotional performance now from #jDrama #AnIncurableCaseOfLove - lacrimal leakage likely

The other fun thing about starting #jDrama #AnIncurableCaseOfLove is that the FL is played by an actor I like, Kamishiraishi Mone, and I spent all day yesterday watching #GiboToMusumeNoBlues and its three SPs The eponymous Musume was played by Mone's younger sister Moka 😍

The one persistent irritant for me in all the #GiboToMusumeNoBlues shows was Satoh Takeru's character. A REALLY stupid clown of a role, the part jarred intensely. BUT he owned the role and disappeared into it, so it's great watching him in #jDrama #AnIncurableCaseOfLove as a surprisingly nice ML MD😊

So I was looking for a sweet and engaging drama to watch and I landed on the #JDrama from 2021 #anincurablecaseoflove it was wonderful and went right into my top ten. Highly recommend it!
