The screen after applying the new adhesive strips around the edges. The new adhesive strips I used were designed to be applied to the screen. For past repairs, the kits have either included precut strips to be applied to the inner bezel of the aluminum frame or I have cut my own. It was fairly difficult to align some of these strips well, especially the one along the left edge (on the right in this photo) which is only 1mm thick. T+20mins.
I tested the new battery before applying new adhesives to fix it in place.
I rechecked for remaining adhesive and applied new adhesive strips along the perimeter of the screen.
