A stunning edge-on view of NGC 891, a spiral galaxy 30 million light-years away in the Andromeda constellation. The image reveals a thin galactic disk, central bulge, dark dust lanes, young blue star clusters, pinkish star-forming regions, and dust filaments extending far above and below the galaxy's plane. Faint neighboring galaxies are also visible. NGC 891 resembles our own Milky Way galaxy.
