Day 47 is partially outdated and I'm disappointed that there are such lessons in the curriculum. I ended up skipping the lesson. (Nothing new in it.)
#Python #100DaysOfCode #AngelaYu #udemy #WebScraping #BeautifulSoup
Day 45 was all about Web Scraping with Beautiful Soup. It could be useful in the future, but it is still hard to imagine how to do complex things with it (e.g. scraping tables).
#Python #100DaysOfCode #AngelaYu #udemy #WebScraping #BeautifulSoup
I have also finished the lesson for Day 43 and 44. I haven't used CSS in years, but basically everything was familiar. It was nice to refresh my knowledge a bit.

I'm not in a good mood lately, and now I'm upset that Angela's HTML lesson is entirely from her other course. I've seen these lessons before. I'm going fast. Ok, this is just my personal problem, but I have to write something about the lessons I missed.
#100daysOfCode #udemy #AngelaYu #HTML
Day 42 also finished in minutes. Pure HTML basics.
I think I will check the CSS part because I'm a back-end type person and it will be useful to refresh my old knowledge.

Day 41 taught me to be efficent. I almost totaly skipped because I had already seen these videos from Angela's other course. (The Complete 2024 Web Development Bootcamp)
My time is much more valuable to relearn what I've known for 20 years.

Day 38 was sheety, and that's not just a metaphor. It was the first lesson I didn't like at all. Just some written exercise with no explanation. Okay, I know working on your own project will be the same, but still...
#Python #100DaysOfCode #AngelaYu #udemy #API #Sheety
I just finished Day 37, which was easy and fun. I learned to use post, put and delete requests. The challenge used the Pixela API, which was very engaging. It's a shame that some of its features have been made paid.
#Python #100DaysOfCode #AngelaYu #udemy #API #Pixela
Day 36 was basically an exercise on the API. The stock market is an interesting topic, but I'm unlikely to use the finished app.
#Python #100DaysOfCode #AngelaYu #udemy #API #stock
I have finished the lesson of day 35. It was mostly practice with API. The new parts were API keys and environment variables. I think Twilio is just one of many options, but it was fun to try it out.
#Python #100DaysOfCode #AngelaYu #udemy #API #Twilio
Nothing new on Day 34, except HTML entities and Type hint. However, I struggeled a lot with this practice project because of OOP. I understand and apply everything well, except when I have to work with OOP.
#Python #100DaysOfCode #AngelaYu #udemy #OOP
On Day 33, I took the first steps with the API and created some API request with and without parameters. The world started to open up.
#Python #100DaysOfCode #AngelaYu #udemy #API
Day 32 was very exciting. Learning about e-mail sending and date management is useful for my future plans.
PythonAnywhere showed the beginnings of cloud solutions.
#Python #100DaysOfCode #AngelaYu #udemy #PythonAnywhere
Day 31 was a capstone project with very limited new information. It was a little bit boring because of my private project this week, in which I used very similar solutions.
#Python #100DaysOfCode #AngelaYu #udemy #capstone
Day 30 lesson was very useful. I have been looking forward to learning about JSON for a while, so that I can create a specific CSV to JSON converter. Catching Exceptions was also a topic in this lesson.
#Python #100DaysOfCode #AngelaYu #udemy #JSON
After a long weekend I continued the course with Day 29 lesson. Many different little new topics came up: Columnspan, Delete entry field, Message box, String() and pyperclip.
It was hard to use list comprehension after a week.
#Python #100DaysOfCode #AngelaYu #udemy #pyperclip
Day 28 was more of a practice than learning new things. The canvas widget and some information about dynamic typing are useful. Today's project was creating a Pomodoro timer and I must say it works well.
#Python #100DaysOfCode #AngelaYu #udemy #Pomodoro
Day 27 was about Graphical User Interface (GUI) and TKinter. It's just a beginning but so far it is exciting. Looking forward to the next lessons. I'm excited.
#Python #100DaysOfCode #AngelaYu #udemy #GUI #Tkinter
Day 26 - List and Dictionary comprehension was not easy but seems to be very useful. I started to feel that I need more practice than we received from Angela.
#Python #100DaysOfCode #AngelaYu #udemy
Day 25 dealt with CSV files and pandas. It highlighted a lot of possibilities, but it is also again a complex area that I don't fully understand yet.
#Python #100DaysOfCode #AngelaYu #udemy #pandas
Day 24 was the most enjoyable lesson so far. Working with files is close to my goals for Python. Today's challenge was also easy and fun. I am enthusiastic!
