I recently reread this book. While I wouldn't expect a kids' film adaptation to fully reflect the themes or the bleak, unsettling portrayal of the characters, I certainly wouldn't have imagined Orwell's work would be interpreted in this way.

Maybe I'll be surprised, but the #AnimalFarm (re) adaptation that's coming out in May looks like another such work that doesn't need to have happened. Given the role it looks like Seth Rogan's voicing, I'm even more dubious.
