Mro's conveniently red scales let him fake-blush and this cheesy dialog feels scripted. He's probably acting, but there is a chance he's being sincere. It depends on who he's talking to~

A chomer's hooked teeth feel like velvet covered antlers. They don't lose the "velvet” and they don't fall off because they are a part of the skull.
Chomer shifters, like Lu, can give themselves "flesh fangs". They aren't covered in velvety fur. Poking a flesh fang feels like poking a human's forehead, it's obvious there is hard bone under the thin skin.
