This informative illustration explains the following… A chomer's hooked teeth feel like velvet covered antlers. They don't lose the "velvet” and they don't fall off because they are a part of the skull. Chomer shifters, like Lu, can give themselves "flesh fangs". They aren't covered in velvety fur. Poking a flesh fang feels like poking a human's forehead, it's obvious there is hard bone under the thin skin. [Image 1-2] A moose (bust) with velvet covered antlers and a chomer (bust).
