I often gave Jesus extremely long hair to make it stand out more. Plus hanfu hairstyles involved long hair too, so it works… When finding colors for His clothes, I wanted to used light, muted colors like beige to make the clothes looked more like a commoner. Many art depictions of Christ often give out rich colors like the red and blue, or clean white with red; which while iconic and has symbolism, gave a very false impression of Jesus’ status. The red cloak is to served as a blanket for cold weather as well as nice foreshadowing to a certain event…
