There is a black and white cow print border creating a 3D effect that the woman and her horse are leaving the edge of the painting. Arizonan artist Coe shows the American cowgirl as a heroic figure, expertly and humorously lassoing a pink Cadillac in the background. While spoofing many Western tropes, the landscape uses a representational palette and the car offers a splash of pop pink.
