Had an amazing time at #AoA2023 and #SNL2023 last week 🧠(even though I struggled with the jetlag🥱). So nice to meet everyone (again) 🤝 Here’s a summary of my contributions to the conferences:

@NIDCD #R13 supported our biggest cohort of young #aphasia researchers receiving #mentoring from experienced investigators #AOA2023

@mara_barberis very popular poster exploring the added value of natural speech in aphasia assessment using automatic speech recognition and assessment.

I enjoyed learning about Mara's work to bring automatised speech assessment tools to Dutch speakers. #AoA2023

Phenomenal reception at the museum of rural life #wine #aphasia and good times! #AOA2023

Clinical practice of SLT telehealth in Saudi Arabia and Moroccan adaptations of WAB-R #AoA2023. And I found a ladybird 🐞at the opening night reception at @TheMERL. @UniRdg_Psych

Great research and networking at #AoA2023. Thank you for the Equity in Science panel and for bringing the #gendergap as part of the discussion. More awareness and education is needed to tackle #genderdiscrimination in academia.

I've made a new buddy in the train on my way to Reading #AoA2023.
