The branching patterns are organic and resemble the branching of a fungus, plant, circulatory system, or brachial system.

Two small square acrylic paintings side-by-side. The painting on the left has a vertical, treebark-like texture, further evoked by the predominance of dark brown shadows and occasional streaks of green. Some vertical streaks in the upper half of the painting are bright yellow and orange, evoking the colors of a sunset between trees, and similar yellow, gold and ruby highlights streak across some of the raised textures of the bark like refracted light. The painting on the right is more figurative, evoking an abstracted landscape scene: a heavily stucco-textured bright red sky gradated from dark at the top to lighter oranges and finally hints of yellow gold near the horizon line, where two round, forested mountainsides meet with a red river flowing between them, starting wider at the bottom of the canvas and narrowing as it stretches and curves away from the viewer into the horizon between the mountains. The mountainsides are textured differently than the sky, raised tendrils like bark and vines covered in a multitude of tiny color splotches and streaks to convey a forested mountainside ablaze with colors: yellows, reds, greens, blues, and purples. Some longer streaks of red stand out against the variety of smaller strokes.
