#Kaiser moved from #Apria to Adapt Healthcare. I hope Adapt is better than Apria, I'm so ready to be done with that company. It's crazy to me that you can be locked into a company for supplying your medical equipment by your insurance provider. Sounds like a gravy train to me.

This post is about things that are bullshit.

It is impossible to overstate how much #apria sucks as a healthcare company.
Not only are they incompetent at a local level, they are utterly full of shit technically as well.
Not to mention, they are a middle man who contracts with other middlemen (resulting in endless cost and inefficiency)

It would literally take hours, which was hard because I had so many other patients that needed things before they could discharge. Once we spent HOURS doing, redoing tests, faxing, refaxing, calling recalling with #Apria for someone to go home with oxygen, which was a life saving intervention.
