A shift in the NAO phase is linked to a slowing Arctic sea ice decline since 2012. Except for the questionable causal association with AMO (which in my view is atmospherically driven, i.e. NAO projects onto AMO), this study does help to explain what's going on up north lately. #ArcticClimateChange
