Around the Bay has many traditions. One of them is the “We Will Rock You” station. It was done by Stan Wakeman for some 35 years, but sadly he passed away. ATB organizers honoured him by continuing his work inspiring runners just before the toughest hill of the course. #ATB #AroundTheBay #Hamilton

The Boxing Day 10-Miler is a century-old tradition in #HamOnt, one I took up ~15 years ago. I'm grateful the 4-Miler was added in 2017 😆. It was a near-perfect day to race and a good training run early in the preparation for #AroundtheBay (15K) in March. #BoxingDayRun

This Sunday, I achieved a personal milestone by completing my longest distance yet—35.4k in the #AroundTheBay road race in Hamilton. Grateful for my amazing support team whose encouragement doubled my joy. Big hugs to them! 🏃‍♂️ 🎉

The banana I got at #aroundthebay is almost ripe enough to eat today.

Was feeling panicked about #aroundthebay but really, I've been working towards this for a year. A wakeup call for Ottawa for sure :)
