This bronze is called "Blind Faith" and I own one of the smaller bronze editions of it. When ever possible I have tried to collect art of my peers. Richard is the office sculptor for Cirque du Soleil.

California Sculptor #RichardMacDonald (b.1946) graduated from #ArtCenterCollegeofDesign in Pasadena.His work's in international collections, including the MEAM in Barcelona. Richard MacDonald and I shared the same foundry, Artworks Foundry in Berkeley.

Painter #NataliaFabia (b.1983) is of Polish descent and was raised in Southern California, where she graduated class of 2006 from #ArtCenterCollegeofDesign in Pasadena. Fabia currently works from her studio in Orange County, CA.

Illinois-born artist #DavidLigare (b.1945) first came to my attention at the #SanJoseMuseumofArt. I walked around a corner coming face to face with this painting; the horse is life size! He trained at the #ArtCenterCollegeofDesign. The photo does not do the painting justice. You can smell the ocean.

Alaskan artist #SteveHuston(b.1959) studied at Pasadena's
#ArtCenterCollegeofDesign, working construction each summer to pay his tuition. Before graduating with his BFA, Huston began illustrating, for such clients as Caesar's Palace, MGM, Paramount Pictures, and Universal Studios, among others.

I thought I'd share a few more favorite sculptors. New York-born artist #RobertoSanto (b.1953) lives & works in Sonoma,CA. He trained at the #UniversityofOregon in Oregon and #ArtCenterCollegeofDesign in Los Angeles, CA. He & I have both used the same bronze foundry in Berkeley.
