Been playing arydia the paths we dare tread with my wife lately. We're really enjoying it. The combat isn't as tight as frosthaven, but the adventure exploration sections feel really nice, and the production gets a lot out of the adventure to run smooth when wandering and having events. #arydia

Played #Arydia with friends yesterday, I got to cast spells and look for clues, we made it to level three, just two more and I get fireball... Woot

So had to end my campaign, we were going on week 4 of not playing.
That being said I'd recommend you get your hands on it sooner than later as I don't think they will reprint or at least not to the US.

So last we helped an old lady with a weird neighbor, delivered heart medicine to a horse, explored a tower, and fought some goblins, slime monster, and a poisonous hyena snake thing.
It was an adventurous day with loads of gallavanting. We also hit level 8.

So we cleansed the church, searched an island, and hunted down a savage pig beast for money.
Some fun combats and interesting events. It's not my favorite campaign game (too much fluff, hate some of the combat mechanics) but I think it's going to eventually be #1 on BGG.

So another session of Arydia down, was fun we found a spooky church, jumped by Salamanders, and are on the hunt for an Owl Lich...
I am terrified to run into an Owl who's become a Lich. What fowl deeds did they have to do to transcend into Lichdom.

So while I enjoy the game, it's not perfect. The combat system feels a little rough. The way your equipment gets damaged after every fight and you have to travel to a town to fix it makes it tedious.
I just wonder what the purpose of it is for, realism? A reason to spend gold?

Another great session, the map has really opened up and we were doing some exciting exploration.
We did run into a few kobolds they were tough fights. And some skeletons as well not so tough.
