Geschichten von früher: Die Textverarbeitung Papyrus¹ hatte zumindest anfangs auf dem Atari einen Menüpunkt „Hilfe/Warum der Pling?“. Man konnte nämlich die Fehlermeldungsdialoge abschalten, wenn sie nervten, und bekam dann nur ein Pling stattdessen – und hier stand dann, warum.

Geschichten von früher: Auf dem Atari ST/TT gab es eine Tabellenkalkulation, die mit dem damaligen MS Excel kompatibel war, aber natürlich nicht so heißen durfte. Wie hieß sie also? Texel – nach der Lieblings-Nordseeinsel ihres Autors, natürlich rein zufällig.
