Tavi has her beloved bears Otso and Kodi. The bears are very good at controlling their strength and playing safely with kids, and they can also handle sharp claws and teeth without being hurt or annoyed. Plus they’re perfect for riding around the forest!

Tavi is a woman, but it’s complicated. The easiest way I can describe it is she’s nonbinary but comfortable with being seen and addressed and referred to as a woman. She/her/hers pronouns, Ma’am, Miss, etc, all fine with her.

Tavi’s birth was long and a bit rough, but overall it all worked out ok. Her mom definitely needed a bit longer to recover than would be average, but her health had been worse overall after the incident that made her retire from minor adventuring.

I feel like this is becoming my answer to everything but it’s her bears. She literally raised them, but they became more like siblings than kids to her super quickly. And in part due to that dynamic, the bears came to realize just how much Atavia saw herself as ‘disposable’.

Atavia doesn’t really prefer one or the other. In general, she’s more interested in vertebrates(animals with spines) like me. I think she’d slightly prefer moths because they’re often fuzzier/fluffier

Most of Atavia’s early dreams are sort of surrealist and ‘interpretive’. Just a series of things and events that her mind is toying with and puzzling out. As her body and mind become more accustomed to sleep, she starts to have more ‘structured’ dreams as well.

Atavia vastly prefers the stereotypical stealth archer build. She likes to take out enemies before they ever even know she’s there. But when that’s not an option, she’s still very skilled with her two scimitars.

Atavia loves all things sweet. From something as simple as fresh baked bread with butter and honey to far more complicated candies and pastries, she loves it all. In general, having a lot of food to be shared between friends/lovers is also a huge treat.

Atavia is 163 when the events of the game take place, but she doesn’t know that. All she knows for sure is she’s over at least 125. Given she’s an elf, that’s maybe the equivalent of her late 30s/early 40s

When animals are being tortured, Tavi turns into a ticking time bomb. Part of the reason she starts killing everyone at the goblin camp when her original plan had been ‘infiltrate and get info then GTFO’. She has a much harder time controlling her temper when animals are involved.

Tavi has only the vaguest memories left of her mother. And while with the kid gang after her parents died, she became the mother figure herself. In no small part due to her being autistic, she felt alone even when not literally alone after her parents died.

A big one for Atavia is being more ‘stationary’ than she ever had been before in her life. She still travels to new places, and also doesn’t even live in a single place the whole year, but she feels far more ‘tied down’ than ever before.

Tavi keeps herself and her gear clean, mostly to ensure she 1) can use her gear for as long as possible 2) doesn’t get sick from being covered in blood 3) smells as little as possible of anything so she can be better at stealth.

Tavi’s family was poor but not in dire straights, but when both her parents died she became truly destitute. Stealing to survive, sleeping on the actual street, going hungry everyday, it was awful.

Tavi didn’t have any formal education. Almost everything she learned was either observed and copied from others or show to her by a single person for a specific purpose(ie being taught to lock pick by the leader of the kid gang to help them get valuables/steal stuff)
