Was als erstes positiv auffällt, das Hörbuchformat M4B wird deutlich besser unterstützt. Frage mich, warum Plex nicht auch die praktischen Hörbuch-Kapitel anzeigen kann 🤷♂️

Prologue realeased an update to version 4.0 and no supports #audiobookshelf servers. I like the Well-organized interface and I think it will replace Plappa as my favorite app for audiobooks.

@kyonshi I am using yt-dlp to get audiobooks/dramas out of youtube and into #audiobookshelf
One needs to be able to run it from a command line but once this is done, its pretty straightforward. And you can convert video content directly to audio only (e.g. m4a or m4b audiobook format).

Been looking at audio dramas and audio books to put on an installation of #audiobookshelf. Lots of German public broadcasters still do those and put them for free online, and there's some BBC and OTR stuff on the internet archive. But are there other good sources in English or German?

Setup Audiobookshelf this afternoon, since I've been in a podcast desert lately. Really easy to get going, but WTF... Android clients don't work with OIDC on a proxy, only when used with the ABS server itself? Yuck.
Maybe there's a better server to use.

The combination of audiobooks on my #NAS and the installed #audiobookshelf is pretty nice. Add shelfplayer on iOS to that, and relaxed audiobook listening at home is perfect.
