My AuDHD kids went on a cruise for a week ..

First time my youngest went anywhere without me 🥹🥰

It feels very weird already without them home 🤣😂

It’s gotten SO BAD. My bedroom is separated from the living room by 1 door and even when I leave the door open she says I’m too far!!!! I COULD TOSS A PAPER BALL AND STILL REACH HER!!! I’M GOING INSANE!!! I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A SOLITARY CREATURE!!!!

& of course I’m working to teach my kids appropriate volume and manners. But I’ve accepted that I have a legitimate sound sensitivity and it’s okay for me to help myself be more comfortable. When I’m more comfortable, I’m a better mom. #actuallyautistic #autisticparent #autisticmom
