I often think about that scene at the end from the movie Don't Look Up, where the good guys have done everything they can to no avail so they just spend time with loved ones, have a good meal, and hold each other close. Which is a sad scene but it also feels strangely comforting.

As someone who grew up during Section 28, I'll never stop fighting for autistic teenagers' right to access books like mine.

Queer author from Essex devastated after school removes book The author says her book was an aid to open up the conversation around gender, sexuality and identity.

I wrote Queerly Autistic as the book I desperately wish I'd had as a young queer autistic person.

I know what it was like trying to figure myself out without access to this sort of information, and how vulnerable that made me.
