Artikkel fra DR: I dag hæves abortgrænsen fra 12. til 18. graviditetsuge Grænsen for fri abort hæves fra 12. til 18. graviditetsuge, og i den forbindelse tilbyder flere organisationer uvildig rådgivning og støtte. I dag hæves grænsen for fri abort i Danmark fra den fulde 12. graviditetsuge til den fulde 18. graviditetsuge. Derudover har 15-17-årige nu mulighed for at få en abort uden deres forældres samtykke, ligesom de fem regionale abortsamråd nedlægges og erstattes af et nationalt abortnævn. Ændringerne sker, efter regeringen og en række partier tilbage i maj 2024 blev enige om at hæve den danske abortgrænse. En aftale, der endeligt blev stemt igennem i april i år. Ninna Thomsen, der er direktør i Mødrehjælpen, fortæller, at man i Mødrehjælpen bakker fuldt ud op om, at grænsen hæves. Hun mener, at det er vigtigt at give kvinden større selvbestemmelse og mulighed for at overveje en abort efter nakkefoldsscanningen i uge 12. - Der er en scanning i uge 12, og hvis du har en abortgrænse i uge 12, så har man ikke nogen mulighed for selv på egen hånd at tage bestik i forhold til misdannelser, som scanningen viser, siger Ninna Thomsen.
Fra regjeringen.no: Den nye abortloven trer i kraft 1. juni 2025 Den nye abortloven som utvider grensen for selvbestemt abort og fosterantallsreduksjon til utgangen av 18. svangerskapsuke, trer i kraft 1. juni. Den nye loven gir også gravide rett til veiledning i valget mellom å fullføre svangerskapet eller å ta abort, og informasjon om relevante offentlige velferdsordninger og tjenestetilbud. Før abort gjennomføres, har den gravide også rett til informasjon om aborten og dens medisinske virkninger. Alle som har gjennomgått en selvbestemt abort har rett til inntil to oppfølgingssamtaler i den kommunale helse- og omsorgstjenesten eller i spesialisthelsetjenesten.
Huh, i dag heves grensen for fri abort fra uke 12 til 18 både i Norge og Danmark! Tilfeldig?
