One of my fav XKCD comics is around hyphenation. if you really want to laugh, just move the hyphen one word to the right.

"Big-ass face" = "Big ass-face"
"Big-old crap" = "Big old-crap"

These are both bad examples, but my brain does this "translation" ANYTIME there's a hyphen... #awkwardgiggles
