"Venat, the way you frame your face is so pretty," Bellerophontes mutters as she looks at her friend longingly. [PANEL 2] Venat smiles to herself, "Is that so?" She tucks her hair behind her ear, her long white locks flowing in the wind. [PANEL 3] "Why don't try framing your face a similar way?" Venat shifts her gaze to Bellerophontes.

Flash forward to the present, Venat, now Hydaelyn, looks down at an adventurer standing before her. [PANEL 5] The adventurer looks up at Hydaelyn, she is clearly a shard of her dear friend. Her hair parted in a similar way that Azem so dearly admired... "Maybe someday..." The distant memory Bellerophontes' words echo in her mind.

There is a notes at the very top to act as color key for the Elpis Flower: "Dark Green → Resentment | Black → Anxiety | Purple → Sorrow" [PANEL 1] "It's always 'Bellerophontes, you're the seat of Azem now, start acting like it!'" Bellerophontes mumbles fiddling with the petal of an Elpis flower that glows a dark green. "Or...'Bellerophontes! You're an embarrassment to the Convocation!'" [PANEL 2] "I only took the position because YOU said it would be good for me," Belle plucks a petal from the Elpis flower that now glow black, "Because I knew it would make Venat happy..." [PANEL 3] "If I'm such a stupid failure..." Belle teeters between frustration and sorrow. Her eyes sting as she can barely hold back the tears that begin to flow. [PANEL 4] "Then just say it..." We zoom on the Elpis that now settles on purple, the lone plucked petal flying in the air. Bellerophontes takes a fetal position retreating into herself, weeps as she tightly grips the Elpis flower. What a pathetic sight she must be, perhaps she's proving everyone who doubted her correct in that moment.
