This has been an absolutely stifling 5-on-5 defensive effort by the Flyers tonight. With all of their puck possession, Pittsburgh just cannot create HD chances or even shots, really. Just 5 and 12 right now.

I don't know if it'll be next week, or far later than that. But the power play is ultimately going to be the death of this Flyers season. It is painful.

The Flyers at 5v5 are getting more quality chances than the Pens, but Pittsburgh has had the puck a lot more. They just haven't been nearly as productive w/their possession. I have the Penguins with 33 possession entries (22 carry-ins, 11 recovered dump-ins) & PHI with just 19.
