10/13 BC's success story: AIDS-related deaths dropped by two-thirds from mid-1990s to 1999. The Treatment as Prevention strategy, launched 2006-2010, reduced deaths to fewer than five per year.
BC went from highest HIV diagnoses in Canada (1995) to lowest (2023).
