During the second half of the #BFAWU25 motions were passed on the need for employers who employ cyclists that courier items including hi viz & lights on their bikes, the need for a legal right to paid time off for the death of a dependent & the need for free period products

Day 2 of #BFAWU25 is well underway we started the morning debating motions on cycling safety,the creation of a National Care Service that is free at the point of need & public ownership of all forms of energy.
We also heard from Rebecca Long-Bailey MP Parliamentary group chair

BFAWU President has given his address to members at #BFAWU25 conference he told members the government should use its taxes to ensure the needs of our society are met not used to divide us & bolster the war machine. He closed by saying "our job is to be organised & to fight back"

Conference is underway and it couldn't have been a better start with a great speech from Mike Masters who is a striking bin worker from Birmingham.
