In the name of #trafficcalming, the town of Covington, GA, where I live, turned a nice residential thoroughfare into a deathtrap for #bicyclists by installing eight traffic islands that obliterated the meager #bikelanes we used to have. So much for #activetransportation or #completestreets. 😡

#Bicyclists #terrify me as they wobble all over the lane or defiantly pedal on the lane dividing line, this taking up 2 lanes, then kicking your car as they zoom between cars to run the stop sign/traffic light. But not as much as #pedestrians scare me.
