Also fun fact, her surname was given by a rez buddy of mine and she's half Mohawk as a reference to him!

Though her design pulls heavy from C.Viper, characterwise she's more akin to Zenigata from Lupin III, Onishima from Jet Set Radio, and especially Kuzuhara from Durarara including her motorcycle!
Though their office uniforms are similar to the real life Ertzaintza uniforms, in the field Makina-Hiria's police force don outfits inspired by Judge Dredd and Task Force Neuron from Astral Chain

Both victims of terrible accidents rebuilt with advanced cybernetics, Usoa Kaikuegui and Abga now both work off their debts to their parent company the mysterious NiiS Labs LLC.
Basically my Catwoman type character, Orb Weaver is a flirty and fun loving thief zipping around with her cable system and is actually rather friendly with Crow as they both do crime for the thrill of it rather than what they actually steal
Opposite to the NiiS borgs', Ingo Amsel loves his cybernetic prostheses and is constantly looking to push them to their limit through any means. Funnily he was inspired by ARMS!
Originally Gaze had a much lamer design but was totally overhauled to something cyberpunk inspired and I really think he's one of my best designs now heh

The Barbosa members virutally all share a uniform of dark blue or gray suits, brimmed hats, and their main symbol: white expressionless masks. Their leader is no exception
Afons' most trusted men include leg breaker Bueyes, hs personal bodyguard Serpe, and a looming hitman with a blunderbuss, Buho
Though actually a former Soviet scientist from Karelia, (H)Odei took his current moniker from the Basque god of thunder and storms to further his urban legend image.
As KOSMOS is mainly after technology to hoard, Fennella Faulkner AKA Osprey often uses her aerial exo-suit to work as a cargo thief under Odei's contract. Fennella herself is ambivalent about both him and his gang.
The other major gangs in Makina-Hiria are the city's chapter of the mafia with the masked goons of the Barbosa Clan lead by Don Afons and their tenuous neighbours in undead cosmonaut Hodei's technocratic paramilitary space cult KOSMOS

Generally the Shen has his gang's dress code be a mix of old timey 20s/30s clothing with fedoras, paperboy caps, and trenchcoats mixed with a Chinese aesthetic of the era as well
Xiulan's out-of-costume style is based off a Scene-like subculture in China called Shamate! Very similar to Japan's Visual-Kei
Her costume on the other hand is a mix of streetwear with some elements borrowed from Sichuanese Opera, namely the usage of various Bian Lian masks
Little is known of Jiu Men, or "Nine Gates" in English, though his giant guzheng seems to have Buddhist enscriptions in them hmm
Also of the largest colour gangs in Res', the green Tong Long "Triad" are a group of angry, mostly Chinese descended youth including their leader Shen, his right hand girl Xiulan, and there more distant buddy known only as "Nine Gates"

Clutch is a funky one being a mix of Ashely Wood, Mad Max, and Khmer inspirations. His respirator mask is modelled after the Hanuman costume in Khmer and Thai theatre!
Keeping in line with BLAABR's lack of real super powers, Pigment's colour changing actually comes from an experimental augment from the ProtoTech Co. that lets her control her skin, hair, and eye pigmentation
Don't have much new doodles of them but also prominent side characters are Eneko Euria and Bianca Ochoa.
Eneko being the guerilla biker Clutch and Bianca an art thief with chameleon esque powers, Pigment. Both are fiercly competitive!

The main trio of characters are (left to right) local graffiti artist Nekane Abaroa, black market street vendor and conman Ghost Mantis, and runaway orphan and carefree hooligan Marko Sagar~
Though Mantis is more a tertiary protag, the main focus is on Marko's fake hero guise of Crow and Nekane's anarchist alter ego Sycophant!
To start is "Bad Luck and a Bank Robber" or #BLAABR for short!
This is my oldest and first comic idea that's a vigilante story about wannabe heroes in a corrupt, crime ridden city as they deal with street punks and get into wacky shenanigans.
Think Teen Titans x Lupin III x Durarara!
