Heroes. Probably the birth of the #bosr with its snot and dirt and cynicism and obsession with social class. Also one of the first published RPGs to acknowledge gay relationships. An acquired taste these days; very much from the time when RPGs were a branch of wargames.

Nuff said. Flavourful, atmospheric #BOSR game that rode the Robin of Sherwood wave into my heart. The first Elven Crystals adventure is a classic, and bits of The Power of Darkness live rent-free in my head to this day. I have the original books I bought in the 80s.

Your luck that I think fits the vibe of the #BOSR like a glove. The spellbook is short, but flavourful. Spells are potent, with awesome names. One of my favourites may be "To Reveal the Secrets of the Anatomy" which encourages internal organs to stop being internal.
