An epic #BSBIRubusWeekend25 geeking with fellow batologists. A fave find was insectifolius x caesius with tiny deeply toothed leaves and red styles, carpeting an area of mid-Norfolk heath

Studying brambles can be a bit prickly.
You need to get up close, feel the spines, prickels, glands and so much more.
We had another great day out in the field.
