Volume 2 of Immortal Detective, the anthology of my late father’s Sherlockian work, was launched during the New York #BSIweekend, or at least I hope it was.
Loved my time at #BSIWeekend this year, in spite of having a bit of a limited attendance agenda. So many wonderful people. (I hate that I had to leave the Lost in New York early last night— a wonderful event. I’m still not feeling well. 😐) *sigh* It’s all worth it.

A few shots from last night's ASH Wednesday dinner. My favorite is Rosemary Herbert and Evy Herzog: Evy picketed the 1968 BSI dinner looking for gender equality & Rosemary crashed the (then) all-male Speckled Band of Boston dinner in 1974 by dressing (& passing) as a man.

(My home was in a safer zone when I left LA and after the stressful and terrifying week I felt the right thing to do was move ahead with this trip.)
One good thing about not travelling for the #BSIweekend is that I can’t get indefinitely delayed in, say, Denver. Which makes me wish I could somehow put airtags on 300 of my friends and watch them converge on Grand Central.

OK, I *think* I finally have everything in order so I can go to New York tomorrow. Whew! Now to try to sleep too early (which never works) so I can get up at stupid-o'clock in order to be at the airport at 5:30AM. #BSIWeekend here we go.

My personal default for #Sherlockian events (in general, but especially during #BSIWeekend) tends to be between smart casual and business casual: dark jeans, a shirt, and a blazer. As you can see from the photos, people's attire vary.
