I did not sign on to mute dozens of illicit follows everyday. I am under attack now, getting a new porn follow every 5 minutes. It obviously cannot be a lure, it's an attack.

Alot of bots profiles show more than 1k following, followers run the gamut. But I see 1k followers for accounts with only a couple of posts who are still new.

Bots follow 1k+ people, followed by bots,followed en masse upon creation

At some point, #bsky is going to face some tough questions about what percentage of their user base are bots.
If 50% starter packs follow me back, that's 450. I have nearly 600 followers, so, conservatively, 25% likely bots

That's 14 fake follows so far today. And no human follows. There's nothing preventing 100, 1000, 10k / day. If I wqanted to ruin #bsky that would be a good way to do it

I can't be the only one to notice a recent increase in bots on the site.
My notifications are flooded with accounts that followed me and have never made a post. They all have a gamedev related description and are only reposting other people's posts
