WhiteHat made losses of 1128 crore loss in 2021 - ~25% of Byju's total loss of 4600 crore.

Valuation crashed from $22 bn to $3bn in one year!

#Byjus got $3.3 bn in funding 2021 & 2022!! And he spent it all on buying out other startups!

WhiteHat, Akash, Toppr etc spending $2bn in the process.

Joke in Mallu homes then was that Byjus was buying CBSE! Such was the greed that he even bought US coding startup Tynker!

You need constant growth to get new money to feed the monster! And then you need more money to feed the growing monster!

That is just how this game works!

And the hypnotizing effect of seeing piles of money on the table can mess up your head and make you greedy!

VC Money is a ponzi scheme - you have to keep getting new cash to fill the gap created by the previous round of funding.

And ultimately when this new money flow shrinks or disappears, the empire you built comes crashing down overnight!
