Entered a Charlevoix mtn bike "raid" in 2012.
A raid's a big backcountry-circuit race.
At the start.
Volunteers far from civilization.
Passed lots of guys with mechanical problems who dnf'ed.
The podium when we arrived a few hours after the winners.
Had fun & tied for last place.

I calculated my (with pauses) time based on yesterday's ride.
People ride this hard hilly ride in half the time it took us, which means at DOUBLE our speed.😳😳😳😳😳😳

I didn't come in last place, I tied for last place!
There were a lot of DNF'ers behind me tho.
It was a tough circuit, and of course I rode the longest version of the course.
That's what a podium looks like looooong after the winners have been celebrated.
