We’re nearing the end of harvest season, but I still have plenty of tomatoes clinging to the plants. These are from just a couple of days ago, and there are plenty more ripening in the backyard. Not surprising—these beauties are fueled by compost! 🍅🌱

Hand holding a small Liberty apple. Cost breakdown per 6.5 fruit: $13 each less the cost of the reusable netting. It's a learning curve. Hoping to break even next year #organicgardening #growyourown #eatwhatyougrow
The netting worked to keep the squirrels and deer away from the rest of my apple tree! Please enjoy this photo of a $13 fruit (2025 arv/cost to return)

Just finished a batch of plum jelly and it turned out such a lovely jewel color.
Made from backyard plums shared by a friend and pure summer magic.
Homemade jellies are SO much better than store-bought.
Canning season is officially ON.

My beautiful, most perfect pomegranate tree in full bloom. I can't wait to eat the fruit!
I'm so excited to eat these pomegranates!

Plants have been a comfort amid chaos over the last year. From starting seeds under a grow bulb, to growing berries and vegetables in containers, to overwintering a few indoors...
