AirAsia X Confirms Bahrain Hub Launch Amid Middle East Uncertainty
Aviation News – AirAsia X has reaffirmed plans to launch a new hub in Bahrain this June, despite ongoing regional tensions that could still affect the project’s timeline. The Malaysia-based low-cost long-haul carrier AirAsia X first announced in February its intention to establish its first hub outside Asia, linking Kuala Lumpur with London via Bahrain. The airline scheduled the inaugural service for June 26, positioning the hub as a strategic midpoint between Asia and Europe.
