🌏 Zebra dove (Geopelia striata) The zebra dove, also known as the barred ground dove, or barred dove, is a small ground-dwelling dove found throughout Southeast Asia. It has a distinctive black and white striped pattern on its wings and tail. The rest of its body is generally a light brown colour. Zebra doves are found in open country in lowland areas and are commonly seen in gardens and parks. No subspecies are recognised.
